Description

The map of Equestria I made for Ask Dagger. This took me crazy long to make. Here it is, in all it's original sized glory. I'll at some point later post a version with place names.
This is a mixture of the in-show map, the one in the castle, and the official map published outside of the show. There were several rather large differences between the two.
Grey areas are places we don't know enough to figure what kind of terrain they will be, so they're subject to change.

Ah, brilliant! I only just recently noticed that the various "official" maps that have been released of Equestria don't line up at all with the ones that exist in-series...it's really cool that you've made this version when so few versions of it exist online! :)

I must say, though, the designers are really making it difficult to reconcile all the conflicting evidence...by all accounts, the tropical forests and Mesoamerican-inspired ruins of Daring Do's world seem to be located somewhere between Vanhoover and the Crystal Empire, while at the same time, the San Palomino Desert, the Egyptian-themed village of Somnambula and the Hayseed Swamps are all supposed to be in the area south of Las Pegasus...
